Why should I buy lingerie?

In this day and age the money we spend is limited and so we must choose to spend our money wisely.

Some would argue that spending money on lingerie, especially seductive lingerie is both frivolous and unnecessary.  I mean it's just underwear isn't it?  Why should we buy lingerie?  Surely it’s unimportant.

But think about this for a minute.  Whilst material needs are unnecessary and there are many distractions in our daily lives that pull our attention in different directions, there are some things that are always important.

 Survival is important, as is family and security. But perhaps the single most important thing today that can contribute to your self-esteem, happiness and well being is having a good relationship with a compatible sexual partner.

Hollywood shows this all the time, not in their movies, but in the real lives and disappointments of the people who work in Hollywood.

We are often told that in a relationship it is the little things that count and this is true.  What many people fail to realise is that these little things must continue.  The little things are not a one time pre-programmed event.  In fact an argument could be made that the obligatory nature of birthdays, holidays and anniversaries reduces the meaning and passion that should be behind the relationship.

Do you really want your relationship to work?

  If so we have a few suggestions for you.

1. Don't buy lingerie for birthdays or holidays.
2. More frequent less expensive gifts are better than fewer more expensive ones.
3. Do not make your gift buying a regular pattern and certainly do not make it monthly or more frequent.
4. Mix it up, so it’s a surprise, not something expected.

If receiving gifts becomes a pattern, it becomes expected and is not appreciated as much.

Anniversaries are an excellent occasion for buying lingerie for your loved one.  You should buy lingerie at least every second anniversary but do not make it the only gift unless your finances are severely restricted.  Another time to buy lingerie gifts is when buying a gift for your new bride, or bride to be.

Frequency of Gifts

Perhaps even more important than the anniversary is the random gift.  Don't buy lingerie for your partner several times in a row.  Twice in a row at any time is perhaps the maximum otherwise your partner will think you are just single-minded and that you don't really care about them, only their body.  As for frequency whilst it would be okay to buy lingerie for your partner twice in a few weeks once in a while you are probably better off making it once every few months.

We mentioned before that you should mix it up and that perhaps you should also include multiple gifts, so as a suggestion, we recommend that as well as buying lingerie,  you include flowers, chocolates or knickknacks as a compliment when you buy lingerie.

Women love gifts, they love surprises.  They love feeling loved, appreciated, admired and wanted, including sexually.  She wants to feel important to you.  You can make her feel all of these things and much more with what you say, what you do, as well as the gifts you give her.

So make your relationship a long lasting one and envied by others.  It is one of the best feelings you will ever know.
